During the semester you take NURS 6222, you will come to campus to participate in CLASI: Health Assessment and Diagnostic Reasoning, which prepares you for a complete history and physical examination.

At the end of your last semester, you return to campus to take some exams. A safe learning environment will be provided to demonstrate critical thinking and diagnostic reasoning using standardized patients in faculty-created scenarios. After the OSCE you will need to complete a skills assessment.

All nursing students should be assessed on program competencies. In a simulation-based learning event on campus, students have the opportunity to demonstrate their assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and patient management skills.
