The curriculum allows for graduation in just one year. Graduates will be ready to begin practice as a licensed dental assistant (RDA) in New York. Students can complete the class online, but 225 hours of clinical training must be completed in person. Students generally proceed at a full-time pace and complete 15 class units and 90 hours of clinical training in their first semester. They will complete 12 classroom credits and 135 hours of clinical training in their second semester.
